Cubs & Peninsula Men’s shed

To complete their DIY badge the cubs had to learn about tools and wood, design something, build it and paint it. 

We reached out to the Peninsula Men’s Shed, based in the Methodist Church in Lower Stoke and asked if they would be able to accommodate us. 
after a conversation with Alan Heron, we organised for the cubs to design, build and decorate their very own block bots!

Alan came to the hut and did a safety talk with the cubs, and in small groups we all visited their workshop to realise their creations!
